News from the "Via Culinaria
The Via Culinaria contains over 200 points of enjoyment, all of which have been tested and carefully selected by a Salzburg gourmet journalist. The number of toque restaurants has increased in recent years and in SalzburgerLand there are now 106 toques, distributed among numerous restaurants. The Genussweg for Feinspitze alone has been supplemented by four new addresses. Also new are the bookable Via Culinaria vacation packages for each Salzburg region and the tour suggestions on which the Via Culinaria can be explored in one or three days. The gourmet trail for gourmets
The Genussweg für Feinspitze brings together the best cuisines in the country, from home-style country inns to urban city restaurants, from modern design restaurants to romantic lakeside terraces: an exquisite selection of Salzburg's top restaurants, including two four-star cuisines. With the Esszimmer restaurant and the Bruno Nuovo restaurant in the city of Salzburg, the Weyringer restaurant in Neumarkt and the Sonnhof restaurant-hotel in St. Veit, four new addresses complete the culinary variety.

The pleasure way for Fleischtiger
The local meat specialties from the SalzburgerLand are world-famous: For example the Pinzgauer beef, which forms the high-quality basis for a classical Tafelspitz or a Schulterscherzel. At the 17 addresses, inventive master butchers, award-winning chefs and down-to-earth innkeepers make the truly best of Tennengau mountain lamb, Pinzgau beef or Kitz specialties. Particularly tasty are the bacon and sausage delicacies such as a Pinzgau bacon refined with apple pomace or the Almwuschz'n with forest honey.

The pleasure way for fish fans
Also the benefit way for fish fans was extended by a benefit point: The inn Bräurup in Mittersill makes the dozen full. The SalzburgerLand has a handsome number of chefs who perfectly master the careful preparation of regional fish specialties. Whether Salzkammergut Reinanken or Bluntausaibling, whether as a soup, a sulze or a smoked trout on the shores of Lake Fuschl: the enjoyment of fish is complemented by a good glass of wine and the perfect backdrop of mountains and lakes.

The pleasure trail for beer tasters and schnapps lovers
Beer has been brewed in the city of Salzburg for over 500 years. Those who want to indulge in the upscale pleasure of beer will come across a wide variety of breweries, beers and specialties, such as the world's only organic beer brewed strictly according to Demeter guidelines. With the help of a new guide, beer lovers in and around Salzburg can embark on a journey of discovery in the footsteps of Salzburg's beer culture. While special dishes such as Mälzergröstl, Brauherrenpfandl, Biernocken or Hopfentorte can be sampled in pubs and restaurants, the best noble distillers in the country distill typical regional schnapps such as Bockbierbrand or Vogelbeer and Zirbenschnaps.
